"Sukhoi Buster"
The painting depicts F/L Salimuddin firing his two sidewinders at the escaping SU-7s. He shot down one Su-7 by missile and gunned the other Sukhoi. The encounter took place on 6th December 1971 near Jammu. The IAF pilot F/L Vijay Wahi ejected and was badly injured while Sqn Ldr Ashok Shinde managed to land his badly damaged aircraft back to base.

"Zafar Chaudhary’s Nilofur"
Flying Officer Zafar Chaudhary (later CAS of PAF) while serving in 7 Squadron of Royal Indian Air force,before partition, named his Spitfire (C/N RN-183)” Nilofur”. He named it in her inspiration. Nilofur was a beautiful Turkish princess who was married to a son of Nizam of Hyderabad.
